Hey camera guy! What are you doing if you're not clicking the man of the moment?

Well, that's what Jason Gillespie seems to be saying here. It's the expression of a man full of confidence who has just done the unthinkable. And he actually did the unthinkable. Even though the opposition was Bangladesh, a 201 in away conditions is never easy.

In the 2006 Test, he was sent in as a nightwatchman when the day was about to end to shield the then no. 1 batsman - Ricky Ponting. But it wasn't long before Ponting's services were required as Phil Jacques got out. And then strode out Ponting and put the Bangladeshi bowlers to sword before Gillespie ran him out.

He would later describe the run out this way

"An innocent mistake: I was simply admiring my defensive shot that squirted out to backward point, when I looked up and saw Ricky halfway down the wicket looking for a single. I was disappointed that he did not once stop to admire perfection in my forward defence, but he wanted to keep the scoreboard ticking over. The nerve of him!"

Having angered his skipper and afraid of the flak he would receive from him, Gillespie admits that he just decided to delay his next visit to the dressing room as much as possible. And by the time he walked to the dressing room one final time, the scorecard showed a 201 against his name. Special, special knock!

The innings would become even more special as the match would turn out to be Gillespie's last.
